Jamie Lingham is a Global Immigration Leader and the CEO of Absolute Immigration Group, comprising Absolute Immigration, Absolute Immigration Legal, and Absolute Immigration New Zealand. With more than two and a half decades of experience across Australia, New Zealand, and other international jurisdictions, Jamie is recognised for his expertise in employer-sponsored migration, workforce planning, compliance, strategic immigration solutions, and immigration advocacy.
Active in the industry since 2001, Jamie is known for his strategic and practical approach to immigration, helping businesses navigate complex workforce and sponsorship challenges. Throughout his career, he has led significant immigration compliance and workforce projects for multinational organisations, ASX-listed companies, government departments, and major employers across Australia and New Zealand. He has also travelled internationally with clients on recruitment campaigns to assess workforce pipelines, candidate suitability, and long-term migration strategies.
Jamie is actively involved in immigration advocacy, industry engagement, and policy discussions. He currently serves as the Elected Director for Victoria and Tasmania with the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) and as the Immigration Liaison Officer for The Employee Mobility Institute’s (TEMi) Immigration Advisory Group (IAG), contributing to discussions on immigration policy, workforce planning, employer sponsorship, and the future of skilled migration in Australia. He has also been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as one of Victoria’s leading immigration agents for four consecutive years since 2023.
Alongside a busy professional life, Jamie enjoys early morning ocean swims throughout the year and is a passionate traveller. Family remains his primary focus, and he has enjoyed many memorable journeys across Australia and around the world with his wife Penne and their three children.
