Arjun Asothan brings a unique international perspective to his role as a Paralegal at Absolute Immigration. Born and raised in Singapore, Arjun relocated to Melbourne in 2015 to pursue his legal studies, completing a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at Monash University. In 2023, he earned a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law and was admitted to the Australian legal profession in November 2023.

After gaining diverse legal and professional experiences in Singapore—including roles in VR simulation programs for the Singapore Police Force and Civil Defence Force, as well as a legal internship in family law and personal accident claims—Arjun returned to Melbourne in early 2024 to embark on his legal career.

Arjun is excited about the immigration industry because of its transformative impact on people’s lives. He is passionate about guiding clients through complex legal processes, ensuring their journeys are as seamless as possible. His meticulous approach to problem-solving and dedication to staying updated with immigration law make him a valued member of the team.

Outside of work, Arjun has an 18-year history with rugby, recently transitioning from player to coach with the Monash University Rugby Club. He also finds joy in gardening, cooking, and catching up with friends over good food and conversation. Fluent in Tamil, Mandarin, and Malay, Arjun’s multilingual abilities further enhance his capacity to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
