Born and raised in Malaysia, Sharon Tan was immersed in a culturally diverse environment from an early age, which sparked her interest in the world beyond her borders. She moved to Australia at the age of eleven, where she continued to embrace and learn from a multitude of cultures. Her academic journey led her to Monash University, where she excelled in the Dean’s Scholar Program and earned a Bachelor of Commerce. Furthering her education, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice at UTS.
Sharon’s career began in financial accounting and tax, where she spent a decade honing her analytical and problem-solving skills. Her transition into the immigration industry was driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, helping them navigate the complexities of starting anew in a different country—much like she did.
Outside of work, Sharon stays active with badminton and indulges in her passion for travel and Korean dramas. Fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin and Korean, she brings a unique perspective to her role at Absolute Immigration, fostering understanding and connecting deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds.
